Abstract :
We propose a control method to achieve chaos synchronization for a coupled nonlinear system. The method is based on decomposition for symmetric coupling of the system. It is clarified that the stability of a synchronized orbit is governed by an eigenvector which is perpendicular to an invariant subspace decomposed by a transformation for the system equation. In this paper we illustrate that stabilization of a synchronized chaos embedded in an asynchronous chaotic attractor of the coupled quadratic maps and discuss its results
