Abstract :
Car navigation, traffic information provision, and electronic toll collection have been leading the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) world for twenty years. Recent advancement in telecommunication technologies can virtually connect vehicles on road networks all the time and provide new services to drivers and societies. This paper introduces new ITS services with connected vehicles to create safe and sound cities.
