Abstract :
In the conceptual design stage of excavator, there are many uncertain information so that the quantitative evaluation of design schemes is very difficult. Traditional AHP (analytic hierarchy process) method can´t deal with the multi-attribute problem with uncertainty, so the FAHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) is presented. And then, the hierarchical evaluation structure is constructed. In the ranking fuzzy triangular number, a new approach is introduced based on the left and the right spreads at some level of fuzzy numbers. Finally, this method is used to evaluate the design schemes of excavator which is developed by morphology matrix.
