Abstract :
In this paper, the simplified method of erection monitoring technique of continuous concrete box girder is introduced including stress monitoring, deformation monitoring and line-shape monitoring. Taking the Shanzhixiang Bridge of Xinguang expressway as an example, the distribution of stress gauges, lever measurers and deformation points are presented in details, and the working procedure of data collection is explained by picture. Based on the former experiences and the simplified method, the error of closure is only 2 cm at the stage of bridge segment´s closure. The successful application of that method could be helpful for similar bridge erection procedure.
