Abstract :
In this article, a diesel engine named "X6170ZC" has been converted into a dual-fuel engine of diesel and liquefied natural gas (LNG). The principle, composition and characteristics of electronic control system for the engine have been introduced. An intelligent control technology has been adjoined to the engine based on the previous experiments. The applicability of the intelligent control technology in the diesel-LNG duel fuel engine has been verified through our new experiments. The results show that the engine adopting the intelligent control technology has higher integrated replacement rate and lower thermal load.
