  • Abstract
    Parameters of combined rotor synchronous motor are designed. The analysis is used to design the parameters of the axially laminated anisotropic (ALA) reluctance part d-axis inductance Ld and q-axis inductances Lq and gas length. The phasor diagram of the combined rotor motor is given and the performances of ALA motor, PM motor and ALA+PM motor are compared. The results show the ALA+PM combined rotor motor overcomes difficult field weakening of the conventional surface PM motor, the advantages of ALA motor and surface PM motor are exerted.
