A New Frequency Estimation Algorithm for 802.11b Spread Spectrum System

Abstract :
This paper proposed a new frequency estimation algorithm for 802.11b direct spread spectrum system (DSSS). The simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can improve the performance of the 802.11b system, compared to the original receiver, there is about 5 dB gain.
