  • Abstract
    Comet is to describe the Web application model that a Web server pushes the data to a browser using a long-held HTTP request. Electric power Web system is a typical application of this kind. This paper introduced several kinds of technologies to implement comet, and how to carry out the electric power Web system using pushlet framework. Our results from test software LoadRunner indicate that the newly designed system can support a higher level overall force than the traditional request-response system.
