Abstract
The presented BICMOS technology offers a wide variety of devices: precision resistors and capacitors, CMOS, bipolar NPN and PNP and both nDMOS and pDMOS devices. While the CMOS is operated at supply voltages up to 15V nominally, the bipolar devices can actively be used up to 40V and block 80 V, and the DMOS structures can control voltages up to 85V. This makes the technology highly suited for products aiming at digital, analogue and interfacing processing, thus serving the ASIC market in a performant and, through its modularity, in a cost effective way.
