Abstract :
In airfreight transportation, some direct shipments do suffer from the high airfreight cost. If the reasonable transport routes are developed, the transport and storage costs will be reduced greatly. Based on a leading airfreight transport provider, the description of route development and the related assumptions are studied, and route development and cost optimization model are set up. The data are collected for Lingo program running. According to the optimized result, the domestic airfreight transport network is discussed. The analysis aiming at changing some constraints to meet different customers´ and suppliers´ requirements are processed. The results are found practicable.
