Abstract :
In this paper the problem of unambiguous target detection is described in a framework of spectrum estimation. Wideband Coherent Integration, Wideband Capon and Iterative Adaptive Approach (IAA) are compared to the Clairvoyant Estimator for multiple targets and target at blind velocity scenarios. The performance of the algorithms depending on clutter characteristics is studied via numerical simulations and validated on experimental data. IAA shows significant improvement over existing techniques.
