Abstract :
The current research status of the gas resource localization and the characteristic of WSN is introduced, Furthermore, Gas diffusion model with wind field based on gas diffusion theory is derived. According to the nonlinear characteristics of gas diffusion model under windy condition, this paper proposes a novel gas source localization method which combines the weighted centroid algorithm and the particle filter. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective with the gas source strength is unknown, and has high positioning accuracy. Moreover, its convergence rate is improved by the estimation of the initial value.
