Abstract
The cracking phenomenon in the process of thick steel plate bending is studied. The influence of metal fiber direction during bending process is analyzed. Combined with Deform-3D, the effect of temperature on the bending process is discussed, the blue brittleness phenomenon of 15 steel is verified and it´s blue brittleness temperature is 150-300 °C. The effect of the radius of the folding machete in the bend process is also studied.
