Abstract :
The realization of Intelligent Transportation System requires the traffic recording data of high quality and sufficient integrity. Such requirements call for pre-processing of the original data. Focusing on traffic flow and in according to the spatial and temporal correlation of traffic flow data, this paper proposes a data recovering method to recover the lost portion of the original data, which is based on the current traffic flow screening methods. This method primarily employs time series analysis and multivariable linear regression. The result of simulations demonstrates that our method/algorithm is able to process the traffic data on-line, including data recovering and thus to be able to tackle the trouble caused by the loss of data.
