Abstract :
A new multibeam antenna for imaging based on planar lenses working at the frequency of 10 GHz is presented in this communication. Firstly, a new planar lens for a phase-correcting application is designed using an ideal feed, so the feed placed in the focus generates a broadside beam. This lens is used to find the final positions of the different feeds of the network, so the crossover between adjacent beams is at 3dB below the maximum. Moreover, a quasi-yagi antenna is designed to match the behavior of the ideal one used in the initial process. In this case, it is necessary to assure that its behavior is stable when placed within a complex network. Finally, with the results of each of the antennas, the final behavior of the system is analyzed.
