Abstract :
Earlier programs designed for Quantification theories do not run in a Windows environment, do not allow inputting parameters directly. To actualize the quantitative prediction algorithms independent of the DOS environment, the authors develop Quantification Theories software (QT software), by Fortran language programming method. The QT software is presently the only software in China, which is independent of the DOS environment and also not relies on other software such as ARCGIS or ARCINFO, but runs under the WINDOWS platform directly. The program has a friendly interactive graphical user interface (GUI) and provides a window to facilitate program execution. Users select options primarily with mouse-click events, or operate interactive dialogue boxes. In the end, QT software has been applied to quantitative prediction research for the large- and super-large-sized gold deposits concentrated regions and the anomaly regions in Xinjiang Province, China, which can be applied to other mineral deposits too.
