Abstract :
In the proposal, 1Gigabit Ethernet used for the data handling from the Data Acquisition System (DAS) to the Server. The test bed consists of Data Acquisition System (DAS), a Server and end systems. The input to the DAS is from the cryogenic engine testing of the rocket. The parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow level etc. are measured. The DAS and the Server are connected using 1 Gigabit Ethernet. The end systems are used to monitor the different parameters measured. The data in the system is handled using two protocols such as TCP and UDP Multicast Protocols. The data packets from the DAS to the Server is handled using the TCP and from the Server to the end systems is transmitted using UDP Multicast. The data displayed on the end systems are used for further analysis. The Project work comprises of the study and understanding of the technology and performance of the implemented system is to be evaluated by transferring the data through TCP and UDP Multicast protocols.
