Abstract :
The canonical problem of the diffraction by a cone is of particular importance in diffraction theory. It is well known that, in the geometrical theory of diffraction, a good knowledge of the diffraction coefficients leads to the possibility of constructing the high frequency asymptotics in various situations, in accordance with the locality principle.
