Abstract :
As electric vehicles are more and more positioned on the market, the necessity for ensuring European-wide interoperability of charging infrastructures and electric vehicles becomes eminent. The need for interoperability was detected in time by standardization bodies and standards in this area have already been available. For conformance testing of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and vehicles it lacks of appropriate test architectures. Single component tests have already been widely performed but despite its relevance the evaluation of heterogeneous compounds of charging infrastructure and the thereby caused mutual influence hasn´t been carried out. Such challenging, big scale evaluations involving real charging infrastructure demand co-simulation with hardware integration. This paper proposes a test architecture for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, addressing these needs and presenting an exemplary implementation of this architecture.
