  • Abstract
    The main focus of this paper is modeling of terahertz-wave generation by means of an optical frequency comb spectrum. To model frequency comb generation by the parametric frequency conversion, we propose a system composed of several coupled nonlinear resonators. Nonlinearity of the coupled resonators and their coupling coefficients play an important role in achieving a specific frequency comb spectrum.We demonstrate that the impact of the source amplitude on the formation of frequency comb can be described by the proposed model.
