Abstract :
Utrasound stimulation has been regarded as the promising method for haptic engineering. As the first step for the successful implementation of this technique, vibrotactile feeling induced by focused ultrasound stimulation is studied in this paper. Experiments about radiation force and vibrotactile feeling were conducted, and the results buttress the hypothesis that vibrotactile feeling induced by FUS is mainly caused by the acoustic radiation force.
