  • Abstract
This paper presents the building electrical equipment Internet of Things (IOT) system and its energy-saving applications. The system which is based on the IOT technology is composed of the IOT node, environment module, switching module, air conditioning module, electrical parameter detection module, DDC controller module and management computer. It can not only collect and store the data of building environment, personnel information, equipment information, etc., but also process and analyze such data in order to do various energy-saving operations. What´s more, it can realize the remote control, the timing control, the intelligent control according to the change of the environment and the global optimization control of the building. Users can log into the browser interface and download the client software to do remote operation and check the status of the electrical equipment. With this system, the energy waste caused by personal carelessness can be avoided, and the standby power consumption can be reduced through various energy-saving operations. Through connecting the building electrical equipment into the Internet, the system makes it possible to collect and solve the big data of the equipment status and the environmental parameters, etc., and provides a new strategy to achieve the global optimization and energy-saving control of various kinds of building electrical equipments.
