Abstract :
A quick and precise clutch pressure control is essential for a good gearshift. In this paper, firstly a control-oriented nonlinear model of Proportional Pressure Solenoid Valve (PPSV), the electro-hydraulic actuator of clutches in Dual Clutch Transmission(DCT) is established and then the triple-step method is proposed to control the output pressure of PPSV. The control objective is to make the output pressure of PPSV track a given reference. Finally, simulation results in the environment of AMESim with a realistic PPSV and clutch chamber model show the efficiency of the proposed approach.
