  • Abstract
Vibration transmission between coupled plates has been the subject that many researchers focus on over the years. Previous investigations were restricted mostly in the area that the plates were simple supported. In that condition, the contributions of in-plane vibration to the power transmission is ignored. It can simplify the calculation mostly, but can bring errors as to other conditions. And in order to analyze more complex system with different boundary conditions, it´s necessary to account for the variations in the coupling and boundary conditions. In this study, the coupling forces including moment, in-plane force and transverse shear are considered. The characters of the vibration and power flow of the L-shaped plate with different boundary conditions are studied. Finally the influence of plates´ parameters on the power transmission is discussed.
