Abstract :
The properties of microstrip dipoles on a planar artificial periodic dielectric structure are investigated. A rigorous full-wave double vector-integral-equation method is used to determine the properties of microstrip dipoles. The effects of the periodic material layer on the antenna input impedance, mutual impedance, and radiation efficiency are highlighted.
