  • Abstract
    This paper presents a control system of the wind power generation with squirrel cage induction generator (SGIG). The control system is based on the back-to-back converter between the generator and grid. The vector control of the generator-side and grid-side converter was implemented in Matlab/Simulink/SymPowerSystems. In this work, it is proposed an indirect method, using a model, to obtain the terminal voltages, which reduces the number of required sensors and save overall costs. The simulation results show the effectiveness of this approach.
