Abstract
Hewlett-Packard has service-centre wide NAMAS accreditation using metrology support packages (MSPs) which define measurements and uncertainties for each test on each instrument, for both Hewlett-Packard and other vendors´ equipment. Although worthwhile for serial-to-serial and year-to-year consistency, an MSP can take a significant time to produce for which, one way or another, the customer has to pay. This paper describes some methods employed to address these issues
