Abstract
In this paper, the results of a small survey of manufacturing organisations are presented which gives some insight into their motives and knowledge in this area. The methodology developed was to survey manufacturing organisations which were known users of NAMAS accredited laboratories and to follow the derived benefits of traceable measurements up the traceability chain to the National Measurement Institute. The relevant part of the study for this paper focused on DC voltage and AC power
