Abstract :
We report the first demonstration of all-optical label switching of variable-length 160 Gbps packets and swapping of 10 Gbps optical labels with real time switching and unicast/multicast operation using a WDM Raman enhanced all-optical fiber cross-phase modulation wavelength converter. Packet BER is measured for all channels and error free operation is demonstrated.
