Abstract :
The present work investigates the performances of two systems´ tracking solar energy. A new economical strategy has been adopted in Morocco to satisfy the large demand for energy. Several solar energy projects has been actually launched on governmental scale. In this context, the current study is elaborated to help Engineers choose the adequate system for a given site. The tracking system and fixed panel were studied by using the Perez model of radiation. The methodology consists of implementing the climatic data of a given site in the elaborated model. The results, illustrated in graphs, demonstrate that the tracking system provides more gain more than in the fixed panel. In general, for some sites, the gain is not important to justify an investment in a tracking system.
