Abstract
In this present paper we study numerically the optimization of the thermal performance of a building integrated solar collector with Phase Change Materials (PCM). A mathematical model governing the thermal behavior of the solar collector with PCM is developed using the enthalpy method. The model parameters have been defined and the obtained equations are solved iteratively. Several simulations were performed to optimize the conductivity of the PCM for the cold period (January, Casablanca-Morocco).
