  • Abstract
    The digital phased array radar is capable to generate numerous and differing digital signal data from each antenna active element. These data must be processed and, generally, the system requirement for digital signal processing must have a high computational complexity. In some modern systems it is not unusual to find the using of an array of distributed processing. This work presents the design and development of a simulator capable of evaluating the performance of execution of tasks in a distributed processing architecture. Also it will be described and analysed the communication between the several processing nucleus. The simulator supports the decision of choosing an architecture through the analysis provided of RAM-memory consumption, statistics about concurrence of shared resources, measures of buffer allocation and execution times during the stages of the processing.
