Abstract
The SEMN method has been introduced by Tavakkol-Hamedani and Tavakoli (see Dig. IEEE AP-S Int. Symp., Montreal, p.2358-61, 1997) for the analysis of finite structures. Also, the electric and magnetic field integral equation (EFIE and MFIE) formulations of the SEMN method have been utilized for the analysis of finite rectangular microstrip patch antennas. We utilize the MFIE formulation of the SEMN method for analyzing Yagi-Uda, U-slot and shorted finite microstrip antennas and compare the computed numerical results with the available results in the literature.
