Abstract :
The spectrum for wireless communications has never been as crowded as it is today. In this context, adaptive antennas can offer a great flexibility to the wireless service providers who must provide improved coverage and quality of service to the rapidly growing customer base. This work deals with the electromagnetic side of this both interdisciplinary and challenging field. we present the design procedure, the manufacturing process and the measured results of a prototype dual-linear polarised microstrip array for fully adaptive GSM antenna systems.
