Abstract :
The aim of our work is to investigate the use of two powerful feature descriptor known as Zernike moments and histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) for facial images extracted from a video sequence uttered ten times by four speakers where MLP neural network classifier is used to identify the correct speaker. We´ve demonstrated good recognition rate obtained for both Zernike moments and HOG descriptors.
