Abstract :
A circuit model for electrostatic discharge generator is presented in this paper. The model takes into account circuit loading effect and can be easily implemented in SPICE simulators. The discharge current waveforms generated by the model are in compliance with the specifications of the IEC 61000-4-2 standard and the ESD Association Human Metal Model (HMM) standard.
