Abstract :
Focusing on the estimation of the hopping period of the frequency-hopping (FH) signals, this paper proposes a novel method based on the binary-sum in the frequency domain. First, the time-frequency (TF) spectrograph of the signal is obtained and transformed into a binary matrix. Then the sum in frequency domain is calculated and the hopping period is accurately estimated by spectrum analyzing. The results of the simulations confirm that the method is effective and superior to the regular methods.
