Abstract :
This paper presents a method for modeling LTCC microstrip to stripline vertical via transition taking advantage of the space mapping technique. ADS is utilized to construct the coarse model. The value of equivalent circuit elements are expressed by quadratic functions due to the three points in one degree of the base set. In this paper, a flexible mapping is exploited in the method for considering the trade off between time and accuracy in the extraction process. The proposed model shows a good performance in approximation and prediction from the comparison with fine model response and surrogate model response.
