Abstract :
This paper introduces a design method of multi-frequency combiner based on common cavity. It comes from the dualband filter structure with a common cavity, which is based on the General Chebyshev filter. The key to this method is to get the normalized capacitance c0 of the common cavity and coupling coefficients of the multi-frequency combiner. And writing a matlab program can make it easier to get the parameters we need. Using a common cavity to realize multi-frequency combiner cannot only reduce the amount of taps, but also can make the intermodulation better. In order to verify the method described, a multi-frequency combiner is introduced, whose test result is in conformity with the simulation results, which verifies the correctness and superiority of the proposed method.
