Abstract :
Dynamic behavior of electric charges in the PET film has been investigated under the condition of polarization and depolarization processes using the PEA system controlling temperature. The PET film of 190 μm in thickness was polarized by dc electric field of 30 kV/mm under temperature elevated up to 150°C. And the film was depolarized without dc electric stress under re-elevated temperature to 150°C. The negative hetero-charge was clearly accumulated at the neighbor of anode in the sample and was stable for a long time. The hetero-charge was disappeared at the range of temperature 70-120°C during the depolarization process
