  • Abstract
The goal of Autonomic Computing paradigm is to set up an environment for computing devices and its applications such that the systems can manage themselves in highly complex situations. This concept is inspired from the behavior of human nervous system adopting its autonomic properties. In our study we observe that almost every property of Autonomic Computing matches with the properties of immune memory cells. However those properties play a key role in developing various AIS models to encounter many critical problems in computing. This paper addresses to the commonability of both Autonomic Computation and AIS models. Combining ideas from different fields which may lead to explore new methodologies of autonomic computation in the context of Artificial immune systems(AIS).
