Abstract
Signal structure is critical to the inherent performance of global navigation satellite system (GNSS), and it is one of decisive factors which must be investigated during system designing and upgrading course. This paper presents a kind of performance evaluation method, and evaluates the COMPASS B2 signal performance. Received performance was compared with GPS and Galileo in five aspects include the out of band loss, code tracking accuracy, multipath error, anti-jamming performance and compatibility with GPS and Galileo. Analysis results show that with good performance, Asymmetric Constant Envelope Binary Offset Modulation (ACE-BOC) could be an alternative multiplexing technology for COMPASS B2 navigation signal.
