  • Abstract
In last few years, the IDMA scheme has attracted much attention of researchers around the world in the area of communication engineering. The researchers have demonstrated the capability of this scheme as a promising candidate for the fourth generation (4G) wireless communication systems. Presently, the scheme is finding its application not only in land area but also in acoustic communication. However, in both of communication channels, multipath fading is known as one of the major for signal related to user. The diversity techniques are being used as the solution for this problem at low cost and without requirement of extra bandwidth. The work proposed in this paper is devoted to the investigation on IDMA scheme in underwater fading environment.
