Abstract :
This Paper presents report of pilot project of Islanded Micro-Grid (IMG) at NIMS University, Jaipur (India), a part of NIMS “Green Energy Initiative” program for Rural Energy System. The main aim of the program is to bring rural India from darkness to delighted India. A 75 m long Island Micro-Grid (IMG) line is laid and interface with “Standard Comparing Power Source” (SCPS). Renewable distributed generations are interfaced with power distribution and consumption loads. There is a load management controller in-between distribution line and the loads, which manages the load shedding as per demand priorities.
