Abstract :
Development of Len Bi-directional Inverter 15 kW (LenBDI15K-1P) and Len Battery Solar Charger 65 A (LenBSC65A-240V-BO) will be presented in this paper. These two products are used as power converter for 15kW solar off-grid power plant. The bi-directional inverter is using single phase full-bridge topology with a PI controller for inductor current and unbalanced d-q frame controller for voltage output. The solar charge controller is using a four-phase boost converter topology with a PI controller for each inductor current and MPPT on the input side. Some development aspects of these products are discussed here, including background, determination of topology and form factor, electrical and controller design, and laboratory testing. In addition, this paper also includes report of products deployment in some remote areas in Indonesia such as Nabire (Papua), Bontang (East Kalimantan), and Banyuasin (South Sumatra).
