Abstract :
Single line to ground faults is a problem that most often occurs in extra high voltage overhead lines, and generally temporary. This type of disturbance can be quickly eliminated by using a single phase auto reclosures, but a secondary arc phenomenon often makes single phase auto reclosures in the extra high voltage overhead lines failed to work. This research aims to obtain a proper modeling of the secondary arc using ATPDraw. Secondary arc modeling has been successfully obtained and implemented in the Tasikmalaya-Depok extra high voltage overhead lines.
