Abstract :
A negative resistive coupling coefficient between two resonators can be realized by a resistor in series with a phase inverter. Therefore, the calculation of g-factors of a lossy coupling matrix should be modified. In order to synthesize lossy filters with uniform g-factors, an optimization method is proposed for generalized specifications, where the hyperbolic rotation angles are regarded as the optimization argument. Our method has been verified by numerical examples with various frequency responses.
