Abstract
GB-SAR amplitude components are utilized to estimate slope displacement by block matching and Taylor series approximation. In order to achieve acceptable displacement measurement performances, this approach needs sub-image method to detect coherent scatterers from data acquired at single lapse time and reduce speckle phenomenon. The validation with corner reflectors shows that the precision of the method is about 0.03 pixel (3cm). For the earthquake case, this approach estimate about 20 cm displacement which is more realistic. Although less accurate, the approach is more robust than GB-SAR interferometry and provides complementary information since the limitation of interfergrams.
