Abstract :
Presents a multirate H optimal digital redesign of continuous time controllers. It focuses on the performance of the closed loop system under digital control. The resulting approximation criterion is a measure for stability of the control system. The discrete time controller is obtained through minimization of this criterion, which can be performed with standard software used for H controller design. A hard disk drive servo example is given to show the proposed digital redesign method
