Abstract :
When vortex flowmeters work at low velocity of flow, the frequency of vortex is rather low, and the amplitude of the signal is also small. In this paper, a digital signal processing algorithm based on wavelet and statistics method is presented. In the algorithm, two powerful mathematical tools wavelet transform method and statistic method are combined to check out the frequency of the signal of the vortex flowmeter which has been submerged under the noises, and simulation results prove its feasibility.
